Born and bred in Taranaki, Daniel lives in New Plymouth with his wife and two children. He plays an active role on his family's dairy farm and is a trustee for both the Taranaki Rural Support Trust and Dairy Trust Taranaki.

Before his current role as a rural salesperson, Daniel had a lengthy career with the Livestock Improvement Corporation (LIC).

He enjoyed building strong relationships with farmers across the Taranaki region and working with them to achieve their goals. When he joined McDonald Real Estate, he continued to foster these connections.
