As a result, there will be significant riparian plantings, stream recontouring, the creation of two wetlands and the enhancement of the freshwater fish and fauna habitat.
The wider community will also benefit from the provision of public walkways that will link up with the existing bush walkway that leads to Ōakura Beach.
